The Boeing Company is currently seeking Entry-Level Estimators to join the growing team in Mesa, AZ.
Our Estimators support United States Government (USG) and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) type contracts and proposal activities. This position will be responsible for a variety of estimating tasks, including estimate and cost volume preparation, proposal development, fact-finding, and negotiation support. These specialists will coordinate with different functions to dissect customer requests for proposals and statements of work and maintain communications with internal and external partners to ensure cost proposals are accurate, complete and of the highest quality.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and preparation of basic estimates, prices and forecasts.
- Assists in evaluation of requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembling price proposals.
- Assists in performing analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.). Assists in developing and maintaining pricing methods and models.
- Assists with data entry.
- Assists in maintenance of rates and factors used for estimates, pricing and proposals. Helps with compliance activities.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years’ related work experience).

Summary pay range: $56,950 – $77,050
